This is a easy versatile recipe you will use over and over.
Having a variety of yummy recipes that you can whip up in a flash and rely on makes good choices a snap. Since I am always so focused on awareness of the impact of my choices, it is crucial to be prepared and creative. Sauces for me have always been a challenge…..until now.
Coconuts have slowly become a very hot and versatile food commodity, and are being used in everything from our daily cuisine to our beauty regimens. Not too long ago coconuts had a bad reputation as being an artery clogging, cholesterol packed food that contributed to heart disease. Today however, the coconut is making a huge comeback as the new miracle food. Coconuts are highly nutritious, rich in fiber, and packed with essential vitamins and minerals.
Lemon is a fabulous antiseptic and lime-water juice also works wonders for people having heart problems, owing to its high potassium content. So, make it a part of your daily routine to drink a glass of warm lemon water in the morning and enjoy its health benefits.
- Cup young coconut meat
- 1 whole lemon, juiced
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp. Coconut Aminos or sea salt, to taste
- ¼ tsp. ground turmeric
- 1pinch cayenne
- Place all ingredients into blender and combine until smooth and creamy.
-You may need more lemon since they vary in size.
-Before serving, bring this sauce to room temperature or warm slightly in dehydrator.
-Any blender will work well.
