Most nutritionists and health professionals agree that the way to keep a body healthy, energized, and free of disease is by consuming more fresh produce.

Fruits and vegetables, especially dark, leafy green veggies, are chock full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that promote optimal health and keep ailments at bay.

As someone who has beaten Stage IV Cancer, disease prevention and natural correction are always on my mind. I know from first-hand experience that juicing is a great way to easily take in my daily requirement of these life-giving foods. personally I have fallen in love with green juice. My daily consumption is about a quart.

My body energy and immunity love this……BTW, so does my scale! Healthy, 28 pounds lighter  and 4-5 sizes smaller, I am loving this life.

Whether individuals make personal goals to lose weight, cleanse their system, or build up their body’s strength and immunity, juicing is a sure fire way to get on the road to good health. It is my absolute favorite raw food recipe. Keeps me alkaline and hydrated.

The “green” juice is all the rage lately, and no longer reserved for the alternative, granola-crunching crowd. The ability of green juices to lessen the body’s toxic load and heal ill conditions is coming to the forefront of nutrition, and more people than ever realize that getting their daily “greens” by juicing is fun, easy, and delicious. Even celebrity health practitioners like Dr. Oz and Dr. Andrew Weil tout their own special juice recipes for vitality and well being.

The wonderful thing about juicing is that there are combinations that will help to prevent and remedy all sorts of issues, from ulcers and digestion problems to fatigue and a weak immune system.

Although I do not use any fruit in my green juice, here I am offering 3 antioxidant rich juice recipes that do have a small amount of fruit added, if needed,  to help you get started. Eventually, you should consume an all veggie green juice.

Green fruits and vegetables are some of the best sources of antioxidants. When it comes to greens, the darker the better. Not only do they promote cell healing and stimulation, they act as antiseptics and help to build healthy blood.

Here are 3 great juice blends to up antioxidant intake.
 Elaine’s  Tasty Tips:

Although the optimal way to consume green juice is immediately after it is created, the reality is that it is not always possible. When storing for a few hours or taking it on the go, fill a glass jar to the top and add a bit of fresh lemon. You will be good to go for hours.
