Green Juice is truly your new BFF.

In six months I have dropped 20 pounds without trying! I feel as if I have woken up from a deep sleep. Today, I am a total juiceaholic!!

Below are three videos and transcriptions showing Angel Etka how to make green juice.

FYI, I have lost 15 pounds since these videos were shot. You can do it. Update….. now 19 pounds less than this photo —————– without even trying!!

Further update 28 pounds as of today. Exactly 2 years later.

My cells became addicted to the way they felt. I am now a total juiceaholic!

Angel: Which vegetables do you use? I’ve juiced before and gotten too creative, I think…

Elaine: Too creative…well, what you have is…every green juice that I do has cucumbers that I just washed in alkaline water, and celery as the base. Read More.

Basic Green Juicing Recipe
  • Cucumbers, celery for liquid.
  • Rotate greens: parsley, spinach, dandelion, kale, collards, romaine, swiss chard, asparagus
  • Flavoring: lemons, ginger, garlic, herbs of your choice

Because I am always concerned about sugar, you will not find fruit in my green juice. Play with the taste and your cells will thank you.

  1. hi elaine
    love your videos
fyi, ive started adding chia seeds to my juice (after juicing, just add them in the glass)
its tasty and reminds me to kind of chew my drink rather than my natural tendency which is to just gulp it down

  3. Thanks Brian. Keep up your juicing. You & your family are worth the effort.

  4. I just wanted to jot down a small message in order to express gratitude to you for all the awesome strategies you are giving at this website. My rather long internet research has finally been paid with professional content to exchange with my visitors. I ‘d admit that most of us readers are unquestionably blessed to dwell in a great website with very many lovely people with useful techniques. I feel somewhat happy to have come across your web site and look forward to plenty of more brilliant times reading here. Thanks a lot once again for everything.

  5. Thank You for making this so easy..

  6. Hello,

Quick question. At the top of the page you mentioned dropping 20 punds since juicing. Is this because you are replacing meals with green juice, or because you have simply added green juice’s to a healthy diet of raw foods?

    • Great question……..The juicing, along with drinking alkaline water, began serious detoxing in my body and the changes were actually quite surprising. With proper water and juicing my body was more nourished and craved less. Never hungry and certainly feeling better. Loved the added benefits of weightloss. Be careful, you will be purchasing loads of new clothes! Today I am about 85% raw and love this. Please be sure to keep in touch and let us know how you do. Best of health.

  7. Do I need a juicer to make this or can it be done in a blender?

    • Juicing and blending are totally different. You will find juicer options and recommendations right in th erecipe post. Be sure to let us know how it goes. This is a powerful step.

    • Daniel,

  8. Elaine,

THANK YOU so much for the advice and information on green juicing which I am absolutely addicted to. Your raw food tips, coupled with simple steps to better health have helped me lose 78 pounds! Yes weight loss, although not the focus as you say-getting healthy is-was a direct by-product. I have not felt better in years. My 2 yr old thanks you, her daddy will be around to see her milestones in life.

Thank you Elaine and the folks at Renewed Living!

  9. Hi Elaine!
I saw a video you recently did with Ty Bollinger and I was very intrigued with your presentation and your amazing journey. I too am on the path to healing and am excited to see what you offer for support on tour website. I do have one concern regarding juicing and maintaining weight versus losing weight. I have lost 18 pounds since my own cancer diagnosis 18 months ago. I am string and ‘healthy’ but I need to get back to my original weight as that will be my strongest body weight. D you have any recommendations on how to combine juicing and proper weight increase and control for me?
Thanks for all that you do! Many blessings for continued healthing living, Cindy

    • Hello CIndy,

First of all………here is a BIG HUG!! I know where you are.

If you would like to chat privately, let me know.

      HUGS, Elaine

  10. Elaine,
I just watched 3 of your videos and I love them. You make this look so easy. I am kinda familiar with juicing. What’s new for me is the placing of the pulp back in the juicer. I can’t wait to try it. Thank you so much for your passion. It’s contagious.

    • Thanks Linda, Every bit of juice we can get is so valuable. Let us kno whow it goes!.

  11. When you say ginger, do you mean ginger root? How much do you add? Also, how much garlic? Thanks! Great information

    • Hello Jen, My rule of thumb is to taste. I use about a thumb size of ginger root for a quart. Same with garlic and lemon, to taste. Start off small and build up. Happy juicing!
