Only through personal experience or self-education will you be able to discover all-encompassing health truths such as the inevitable connection between the quality of our air, water, food and our overall state of health. This is something that I myself had to painfully learn through my bouts with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I learned that you should not suppress symptoms but treat the underlying cause of disease instead. I also learned how to listen to my body, and understand the message it tries to communicate each time it manifests pain and disease.

We may not have absolute control over what happens on the outside, but we do have a complete control of our internal environment.

We choose what kind of water to drink, which foods to eat, what thoughts to think, and what emotions to feel. To a certain extent we also choose the kind of air to breathe. I am not talking about having to move to a greener neighborhood to avoid air pollution. I am talking about acquiring certain technologies  that can significantly improve air quality. What we breathe in will either pull up or drag down our body pH. We will explore this in greater detail in a future posts.

Dr. Robert O. Young, author of  The pH Miracle  and one of the world’s leading experts on the subject of alkalinity, said that a healthy person should have a urine and saliva pH of 7.2 to 7.4. Your blood pH has to be within the narrow 7.35-7.45 range at all times. If it falls below 7.35 then your body starts to suffer from systemic acidosis.

You have to apply all the means to increase your blood pH, as one that’s below 7.00 can lead to either coma or death. Drugs won’t do that because they can’t. Only a positive and balanced lifestyle could. That means improving the quality of your air, water, food, sleep, thoughts, and emotions. Symptoms are actually SOS messages telling you that you need to alkalize soon or a serious, life-threatening disease may follow. But they are not just mere indications that something inside us is off-kilter. They’re actually our body’s way of coping with disease. They’re not diseases themselves. This is why allopathy has failed so miserably in restoring health, reversing disease, and saving lives.

As discussed in  previous posts there needs to be an 80/20 alkaline-acid balance for our body systems to function properly.

It is possible to suffer from alkalosis or become overly alkaline, but this doesn’t happen very often. It’s acidosis caused by systemic toxicity that is rife. Chiropractor and holistic nutritionist Dr. Ted Morter stated that your organs work overtime in an attempt to stay balanced when your body pH is too low. Eventually they become exhausted, and a jaded body will not be able to cling to youth or fight disease successfully.

Sick, old, achy, and sad. You don’t want any of these words to apply to you, so make a commitment now and take the time to learn more about alkalinity and raw foods in our posts and follow the principles. It is not too late.
